Please read the following policy to understand how your personal information will be treated. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page so please check back periodically.

What personally identifiable information is collected from you?

NCB collects your IP address (an assigned number, similar to a telephone number, which allows your computer to communicate over the Internet), and information regarding which pages are visited and when. We also collect personal information volunteered by you, such as your name, email address, survey responses, campaign actions and preferred means of communication. If you are under 18, please make sure that you obtain your parent/guardian’s permission before you provide any personal information.

How is your information used?
NCB uses the information collected about you to help us understand more about how our site is used, for the purposes described in any of our online surveys, for providing any campaign email updates which you have requested and for administering any prize draws into which you have entered. By submitting your answers to our online surveys, you agree to let us use your comments and views in our leaflets, website and other publications. We will not hold your personal information on our systems for longer than is reasonable in light of the purposes for which it was collected.

Who is collecting and controlling your information?
NCB owns the information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information to third parties for any purpose other than that relating specifically to NCB. We collect information at several different points on our website. NCB controls the processing of information you submit on its website or via its surveys. We may pass this information to carefully selected third parties (including www.surveymonkey.com) who process information on our behalf.

What are your choices regarding collection, use and distribution of your information?
If you have opted to receive email updates about CBN/NCB campaigns, we may contact you from time to time. If you are emailed with information and you do not want to continue receiving it, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the email, which will tell you how to unsubscribe from receiving further updates.

What is the NCB policy on allowing you to update, correct or delete your personally identifiable information?
NCB has a legal obligation to ensure that your information is kept accurate and up to date. Please help us to comply with this obligation by informing us of any changes to your information. You also have the right to request details of the information we hold about you and to delete or rectify any inaccurate information. What security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?
When you give NCB personal information we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely. However, non-sensitive details (such as your email address) may be transmitted normally over the Internet, and we cannot guarantee that this will be 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, NCB cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, NCB is committed to taking reasonable steps to ensure its security on our systems.
