CBN welcomes End of Life Care Strategy

The Department of Health has published its strategy for End of Life care, promoting high quality care for all adults at the end of life, and including support for carers, both during a person's illness and after their death. This includes a recognition of the importance of bereaved children and young people's needs, and accounces a national coalition to raise the profile of end of life care and to change attitudes to death and dying in society.

CBN welcomes the strategy, but notes some key areas will require cross-departmental action to ensure that these needs are met. For more information, please contact us.
