UNDERSTANDING TRAUMATIC BEREAVEMENT

A one day workshop that aims to develop a greater understanding of how traumatic experiences affect children and families, with particular reference to the impact on grieving, and to understand how therapy and other therapeutic opportunities can help to alleviate traumatic distress.  Target audience: suitable for those whose work involves supporting those traumatically bereaved.

CRITICAL INCIDENTS AND CRISIS INTERVENTIONS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Aims to develop a greater understanding of the immediate impact of critical incidents on children and young people, and to increase awareness of evidence-based crisis interventions
